Winter Weenie Roast
Not to be outdone by our neighbours enjoying southern climes, we got together for a weenie roast and street slide party. Yes, it was cold as Hell, fun as Hell and the beer never got hot! Who's got the lighter?
It looks amazing! I've never really been sledding or skiing or anything before. I hopped on my jacket and went down a hill in Yosemite one time, but that's about it as far as speedy winter activities go.
Actually snow does up its up-side. It sparkles like a gazillion diamonds, the wind shapes it into as many amazing shapes as it does the Sahara sand dunes. You can slap on your cross-country skis right outside your door! You can zip by on a ski-do going a zillion mph! Right now tho, I'm going out to shovel off the roof of the shed so it won't fall down!
Suzy May Blackfly writes from her unique perspective in the wilds of Ontario, Canada or from Pasco County, Florida. Nature lover, animal lover and a lover of words, I take pleasure in sharing the minutiae of daily life always striving to be my best self.
Please enjoy my musings and provide your comments.
